A formspring question regarding my support for Everybody draw Mohammed day:

I thought you were a pretty safe guy, but then I saw your Mohammed drawing post. Not very nice.

It's not about being nasty, or at least that's how I see it. I'd like to state I in no way support those using this day to be racist or purposely offensive. The reason I support it is because of free speech, and how it'll symbolise not giving into fear and intimidation of muslim extremists that threaten to decapitate cartoonists because they merely drew a picture that depicted their prophet? Mohammed has been depicted for centuries, but only now is it deemed blasphemous, and punishable by death? No. That's something that's not very nice.
