My Personal TOP TEN Video Games!

I fucking love video games. I spent a fair bit of my childhood playing them. Only seems right I'm going to say what my favourites are (and yes, top tens are what us bloggers call 'canned news', or what we pull out when we can't think of anything else to blog about). MY TOP TEN! (with drawings I did of dem :3)

10: inFamous

OMG I loved this game. Basically you shoot people with lightning in a city all free roaming and it was awesome. If I'm being fair it kinda suffered from the same kind of problems the first Assassin's Creed, where outside the story there wasn't all that much to do, with some repetitive side quests and not many enemies to kill free roaming around the city. But the story I thought was great, it had that great comic book edge and a killer cliffhanger at the end. If inFamous 2 is as big an upgrade as Assassin's Creed's sequel was, then I will have such a major happy, I would be able to give birth to it and call it mine and my PS3's love child.


9: Rome: Total War

Best strategy game ever.


8: Super Mario Galaxy

My interpretation of Mario. He will stomp on your vaginas in your sleep, lady koopas.

Best platformer ever. I'm deadly serious. When I had a Wii, this was the only game besides Twilight Princess I decided to beat. I even went as far to get 101 stars. Some call that sad, I just really enjoyed the game. It's not like I spent hours a day on it, I had the game for months just not trading it in. It was THAT good.


7: Crash Team Racing

Best racing game ever. I was debating heavily in my mind whether to put this or Burnout Revenge (yeah I like it over 3 and paradise, got a problem with that?), but I had to go old school on this one. Now this was a game I spent hours on as a small child. I didn't even know what a Mario Kart was then, all I knew was that this was the serious shit.

6: Tetris

I play it a lot when I'm bored.

5: Pokemon Gold

Ruined my life. It's the reason why I never developed proper social skills.


4: Uncharted 2

My favourite game I have at the moment. The script for this game's story is just pure brilliance, it's exactly like playing an Indiana Jones film. The game's beautiful, the gameplay is smooth and the setpieces are like WOAH. I'm bumming the multiplayer atm more than MW2.


3: Timesplitters 2

In absence of Halo, PS2 peoples had this. It was hands down the best split-screen shooter on the console, not to mention it have zombie monkeys. We want a Timesplitters 4. Now. What? No, I don't give a shit that the developer went bust. Make it anyway.


2: Devil May Cry 3

OMFG I completed this game so many times it's just stupid. It was though the most badass game of all time ever. It was as hard as shit but never have I played such a fast paced hack and slash game. It shit's all over the other DMCs (even the first) and shits on Ninja Gaiden in terms of being awesome.


1: Half Life 2

Do I really need to explain why? One of the most immersive gaming experiences I've ever played, and definitely my personal favourite.
