Paying my respects here to all the great people who have had an impact on the music industry, in their own ways. You can argue whether they were as influential as each other or not, but it doesn't matter as they will all be missed.
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)
One of the most influential pop artists of all time.
Adam Michael 'DJ AM' Goldstein (March 30, 1973 – August 28, 2009)
American DJ who had worked with the likes of Madonna, Papa Roach, Will Smith and of course Blink 182.
James Owen 'The Rev' Sullivan (February 10, 1981 – December 28, 2009)
Drummer for Avenged Sevenfold, and was known as one of the best drummers around at his time.
Jun 'Nujabes' Seba (瀬葉淳, Seba Jun), (February 7, 1974 – February 26, 2010)
Hip-hop underground music producer who produced the soundtrack for the anime 'Samurai Champloo' and was easily renowned in his genre.
Ronnie James Dio (July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010)
Successor to lead singer Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath and front man for Heaven and Hell.
Paul Dedrick Gray (April 8, 1972 – May 24, 2010)
Talented left handed bassist of the band Slipknot.
Stuart Cable (May 19, 1970 – June 7, 2010)
Original drummer for Stereophonics and broadcaster, worked on Kerrang Radio.
RIP.
If I've missed any other late musicians who you think I should out up here, comment and I'll edit them into this post.
